BFG Bands

BFG can provide a range of different bands for a variety of events.  We can offer the whole group for concerts, community and other entertainment, a ceilidh band for parties, functions and  weddings or just a  couple of fiddlers for background music, for burns suppers and so on. In general we will travel up to 50 miles from Blackford (which is near Auchterarder, near Perth) but will consider longer distances for special events.  We have managed the south of France on one occasion!  The booking form below is a downloadable Word document.

Why  we play gigs

BFG is a self-funding group which encourages people to learn together socially and to perform at a wide range of  places.  To do this we rely on donations for gigs/concerts and on money raised through our excellent ceilidh band.  By booking one of our bands not only will you be getting excellent entertainment but you are also supporting us as a group to help others to learn to play.

Fund raising

Are you a fund-raiser for a good cause?  One of the ways to do this and to raise awareness of your work is to hold a ceilidh.  BFG does many fund raising gigs for others at which many thousands of pounds have been raised.  We offer very competitive rates for such events and would love to hear from you.
